The situation

Customs and IT supply-chain compliance is bought by procurement teams and compliance officers who need to establish very quickly that a supplier is credible and operates in their region. The existing site read like a general business website.

What we found

The buying committee here is not one person. A compliance officer wants certifications and process; procurement wants coverage and commercial terms. The site addressed neither directly, so both had to email to find out.

What we did

We separated the service lines properly and wrote each for the reader who actually evaluates it, rather than a general audience. Certifications, regional coverage and the process itself were given real space instead of being implied.

Enquiries route by service line and region, so a compliance question reaches someone who can answer it rather than a general inbox.

How it went

Enquiries arrive with the detail the sales team needs — which service, which region, what stage — and reach the right person without triage.

What we would do differently

We built the regional structure for the regions the client served at launch. Adding one later was more work than it should have been, because we had modelled regions as content rather than as data.

Questions About This Project

Yes, and it should be when they are the ones evaluating you. They want certifications, coverage and process, and a general business site answers none of that.
